Carlos has three and a half years experience in investment banking in Mexico. During this period, he worked at Protego Financial Advisors; a leading investment bank boutique in Mexico, specialised in Private Equity, Project Finance and Local Public Finance Advisory. Carlos worked in the Private Equity Area for two and a half years, and he was involved in private equity raisings, corporate restructures and M&As in a wide range of industries. During 2003, Carlos moved into the Energy Area where he was involved in a major advisory project with PEMEX, the Mexican Oil & Gas Company.  

Prior to joining Origin Capital in 2005, Carlos completed an MBA in the Australian Graduate School of Management and was involved in projects with Pricewaterhouse Coopers Australia and Ernst & Young Australia.
